How much does it cost?
It’s completely FREE to download and install SMS4PC. On top of that, we have added 5 SMS to get you started. Once you’ve used them up, you can easily buy more credits as you go. Check out our Pricing page for information about our Pay As You Go product options.
Will my mobile operator charge me for sending SMS?
No. All the SMS messages are routed via SMS4PC and your mobile operator will NOT charge you in addition to what you pay us.
Are there any setup or license fees with SMS4PC?
No. No setup or license fees, no lock in contracts or hidden obligations. Contrary, you get 5 SMS messages for free to get you started!
What are the payment options?
You can pay by Mastercard, Visa or PayPal. Payments are secure and managed through Auriga ePayment which is our PSP (Payment Service Provider).
How do I know the transaction is safe?
Auriga ePayment is certified in accordance with the PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard). This means that they fulfil the strictest security requirements for handling credit card payments.
What happens if I need to send more messages than my Price Plan?
You can always buy a new bundle of x messages. SMS4PC alerts you when you are low on credits. You have 12 months to use your message bundles.
How do I know how many SMS messages I have left to use?
SMS4PC gives you a heads up and displays the message balance so you will never run out.
Is the recipient able to reply the SMS message?
Yes. The replies are sent back to your mobile phone and they see your normal phone number as sender’s ID if you have activated your own phone number.
Can I send SMS messages to mobile phone numbers in other countries?
You can send SMS to 422 Networks covering 158 countries.
Can I send out an SMS campaign to thousands of users?
Yes, you can. Many of our customers send bulk campaigns to thousands of recipients at the same time and that works fine. Simplest for a user is to copy/paste mobile phone numbers from a spreadsheet, CSV file or similar and simply paste it into the application. That makes it possible for you to create a campaign in less than one minute. For a quick demo of how this copy/paste of numbers work see this video.
How many characters can I type in an SMS?
By using SMS4PC you can send long messages, which are up to 5000 characters long. If you look for sending long messages we recommend you to make sure the setting is correctly set under Account / Setting / Message Settings.
What address books are supported?
SMS4PC supports your Outlook, Windows and Mac address books. This means that you could access and use your contacts from your PC, Mac or Outlook from start.
Can I upload contacts from Google contacts?
Yes, the web and desktop products lets you import Google contacts. Additionally, you can import contacts from CSV file format.
If I send a scheduled SMS messages do I need to leave my computer on?
No. It’s all taken care of by our server.
Can I specify my company’s name as sender instead of the mobile number?
Yes, this feature is ideal for advertising of special offers, coupons and announcements. You can specify any text (up to 11 characters) as sender. But – you won’t be able to receive replies from the recipients, as your mobile number won’t be sent with the message. Note: To turn on this feature please contact the support team.
Can I add signatures with every message sent?
Yes, your signatures are attached automatically with every message if you choose that option.
Can we connect our own corporate systems to send SMS?
Yes, you can connect databases, CRM systems, alert systems, work order systems or any system you have developed inhouse or bought from a software vendor by using our simple to use Web Services API. Please contact us for more details and see here for more details.
